Most fence marketing reports are screenshots of Google Analytics glued into a slide with a percentage that looks impressive. Ours are one-page and one number - what the marketing produced this month vs. what it cost, reconciled to booked jobs in your CRM. If you can't defend the math to your bookkeeper, we didn't do our job.
If a report shows any of these, ask your current vendor to explain it. Their answer will tell you a lot.
Same call fires three "conversion" events - one from GA4, one from Google Ads, one from a call tracker. Three "leads" in the report. One actual phone call.
Every form gets bot fills. Every one of them shows up as a "lead" in most reports. Real reports strip them out and only count real inbound.
Existing customer calls to schedule a service. Report counts that as a "new lead from Google Ads." Bad math. We dedupe against your CRM every month.
"$32 per lead" sounds great until you find out only 3% booked. Real report shows both numbers, in the same table, on the same page.
Impressions and reach don't pay for materials. Booked jobs do. We report booked jobs, cost per booked job, and revenue per lead source.
Rolling every campaign into one blended ROAS number hides the specific campaigns that are wasting spend. Real report shows every campaign on its own line so bad ones get shut off.
Total leads this month. Total booked jobs this month. Total revenue attributed to marketing sources. Compared to last month and last quarter. This is the "what did marketing do for me" answer at a glance.
Every channel on its own line. Google Ads (Search + LSA). Organic search. GBP calls and direction requests. Referral. Direct. Each with cost, leads, booked jobs, and cost per booked job. Where you're winning and where you're wasting.
Total inbound calls. Unique callers (deduped). Missed calls. Missed call recovery via FastQuote texts. Average call duration. Calls per lead source.
Top keywords ranking and moving. Top county pages driving impressions and clicks. Map pack rank scan by county with a comparison to last month. This is where the SEO investment is showing up.
Profile views, calls, direction requests, website clicks. Photo views. Review count and monthly velocity. Review response rate. This is the map pack health check.
Every report ends with a short "here's what we did this month" and "here's what we're doing next month." No jargon. No hiding. If we tried something that flopped, the report says so and what we're doing instead.
For clients running FastQuote where we can close the loop from lead to money.
For clients running on another CRM (or their own) where we deliver the marketing side clean and don't guess at their revenue.
Both. The PDF is the monthly summary that's easy to read on a phone. A live GA4 + Google Ads dashboard is available any time if you want to see today's numbers. We prefer the monthly PDF because it forces us to write an actual narrative about what happened - which is where the value is.
It is, for everyone. We're honest about the gray area. Some leads walk between sources - Googled you, saw your ad, then called from your GBP listing. We tag with best-source logic and clearly label anything we can't attribute cleanly. Better honest than fake precise.
Yes. GA4, Search Console, Google Ads, GBP - you have owner access to all of it. The report is our synthesis of what the data means and what we're changing because of it. You can always double-check us.
Then the report says the marketing isn't working - and what we're changing to fix it. We would rather deliver a bad-news report and a real fix than a good-news report that ignores the problem. If the marketing isn't producing, the report is the first place you'll hear it.
Google Ads only shows Google Ads. Our report shows every source - Ads, organic, GBP, direct, referral - in the same view, so you can see which channels are actually producing and which are being propped up by another. No single-channel reporting gives you that view.
Yes if you prefer, but we recommend monthly. Fence work has enough seasonal noise that quarterly reports blur the signal. Monthly with a quarterly rollup narrative is the sweet spot.
